About Clarence Anglers
The CLAC (Clarence Licensed Anglers Club Inc) was formed in 1964 and has been contributing to the improvement of angling in Tasmania ever since. The club meets on a monthly basis with a focus on sharing knowledge about “all things fishy".
The club caters for a range of sustainable angling methods and runs regular field trips to various Tasmanian lakes and rivers throughout the fishing season.
The club keeps members up to date with information on the it's website, Facebook page and with emails on news and upcoming events.
Regular fly tying is held most Thursday evenings and is popular and well attended with both novice and experienced equally welcome.
The CLAC is affiliated with the Southern Tasmanian Licensed Anglers Association (STLAA) and has a direct representation to this organisation and to AAT (Anglers Alliance Tasmania) which enables CLAC members and the "Club" to have their say in local and state wide fishing matters such as regulations, anglers access and management plans.
