CLAC has sole discretion over what is published in the Gallery and seeks to maintain a high standard of presentation and a broad variety of images.
The following guidelines will increase the chance of your photo being included in our gallery.

Set the camera at the largest size and highest quality and submit the image uncompressed and unaltered as a TIF or JPEG.

Use a good quality camera with a quality lens.

Select what is the most important object, person or feature in your picture and focus on it.

If you are photographing an angler holding a fish, concentrate on the fish not the angler's face.

Consider getting unusual angles.

Photos worthy of publication are - catch and release, fish, fresh out of water, landing fish and action hook ups.

Photos that depict the following will not be considered - crooked horizons, alcohol, guns, gun belts etc, shadows over faces, gutted fish.
