CLAC has sole discretion over what is published in the Gallery and seeks to maintain a high standard of presentation and a broad variety of images.
Following guidelines will increase the chance of your photo being included in our gallery.
- Set the camera at the largest size and highest quality and submit the image uncompressed and unaltered as a TIF or JPEG.
- Use a good quality camera with a quality lens.
- Select what is the most important object, person or feature in your picture and focus on it.
- If you are photographing an angler holding a fish, concentrate on the fish not the angler's face.
- Consider getting unusual angles.
- Photos worthy of publication are - catch and release, fish, fresh out of water, landing fish and action hook ups.
- Photos that depict the following will not be considered - crooked horizons, alcohol, guns, gun belts etc, shadows over faces, gutted fish.
